Amazon Hires Robots to Ship Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Amazon will pay $775 million to buy up Kiva Systems, a company that makes robotics technology. The purchase could bring new power and efficiency to Amazon’s shipping and order fulfillment systems. The company is under intense pressure to keep shipping and supply costs down as demand for its line of Kindle products and other offerings increases.
